Console Compass is a read-only Chrome extension that helps users navigate the Microsoft Azure portal. It is published by Solo730 Multimedia LLC.
Console Compass runs only on pages under portal.azure.com. It adds a navigation panel and reads the current page to show your subscription ID in the panel. That value is shown on your screen only. It is not stored and is not sent anywhere. The extension does not change your Azure resources, and it does not ask for your Azure credentials.
We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data, and the extension includes no analytics or advertising services.
The panel includes an optional field for entering a Pro license key. If you enter one, the extension sends the key and a short device label (derived from your browser's user agent) to our license server, which checks it with our payment provider, LemonSqueezy. The extension then checks the key again when it loads. If you never enter a key, none of this happens.
If you activate a license, the extension saves the license key, an activation ID, and your plan type in Chrome's local extension storage on your device. You can remove them at any time with the "Remove license" button in the Pro tab or by uninstalling the extension.
The extension requests the storage permission to save the license information above, and access to portal.azure.com so the panel can appear there. It does not request any other site permissions.
Console Compass is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft. Microsoft and Azure are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies.
